Honda Accord goes 400,000 miles

In 1992 my father bought a new Honda Accord. He passed it on to me in 2001 after putting 285,000 miles on it. I thought it would blow up before I made it down the street but here I am still driving it in 2009 and making it to 400,000 miles. The question now is will it make it to 500,000?

Typical Honda. If you religously maintain it and drive it mostly on the highway there's almost no reason why it shouldn't get 400k. I've seen quite a few Accords in my area with this kind of mileage. Can't say the same for American made cars.

@itseriko Hey Man. I swear bro dont ever give this beauty up. I have a 1994 honda accord lx and it was one of the best cars ive ever owned. I currently own a 2011 honda accord and holy shit do i have to say that it does not compare to the old model accords and boy do i regret selling that beauty. The drive steering and turning is so much better in the old accords.. and my old accord never gave me starting prob in cold however the 2011 accord does.. Bummer.. take care of this treasure

My 1991 Honda Accord Lx has 276,000 miles on it and it starts everyday. This summer will make 3 years for me. I bought the car in 2008 with 252,00 miles for $400.00. Money well spent.
