Today's video tutorial is a card I created for my stamp club, and I loved it so much it became my swap for Stampin' Up! Founders Circle Retreat. Using the Always Thankful Stamp Set (123787 wood, 123789 clear mount) stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

I used several techniques, including water coloring with aqua painters & ink pads. What I think is the coolest part, is something you don't notice at first glance. The frame shape in the middle was created with the new Designer Frames Impression folder (123130), and it was embossed over the Square Lattice impressions folder (119976). I had some fun figuring out how to make this work, so one folder didn't flatten out the other. Turns out I just had to fall back on the "partial impression embossing" technique that I presented at the SU Hartford, CT Regional Event.
