Plot:
Ariel is the mermaid spirit of a wishing well, she tries to fulfill wishes for coins to collect, because OMG SHINY.
One day Meg goes to the well, feeling hopeless. Ariel swims up and keeps her company. However Ariel is only a spirit, and so Meg can't see her, but does feel her presence. Ariel conjures up happy thoughts and feelings and sends them through Meg's mind. Eventually Meg starts to feel better, though thoroughly confused as to how/why she's so happy.
