@jt8908 No, this is the hottest as of now. It registers 1,463,700 on the Scotsville scale compared to 1,382,118 for the Naga Viper and 1,041,427 for Bhut Jolokia/Ghost Pepper.

@mmmmmmmmmusic A friend from thehotpepper . com named Judy who is a well respected seed seller there sent them to me (pepperlover . com is her site) If your interested, join and participate over at THP and you should have no trouble finding people to sell or give some pods to you this fall. @myidollop You just made Ron's day! As far as eating the pepper in one bite... if you watch enough of my videos you will learn that I have found more than a few peppers that look perfect on the outside but are black or have creatures inside. I like to show people what the pepper looks like inside and give them a nice description of the flavor, texture, and the heat. The inside is actually a lot scarier looking than the outside and the second bite is much harder than the first.

Awesome video guys! You are fucking brave! Question, is this chile hotter than the ghost chile? I read somewhere a while back that the ghost chile is the hottest chile on the planet, but now just recently I read that the Trinidad scorpion was the hottest?

@jt8908 I think the Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Ghile) is still listed in the Gunnies Book as the hottest pepper, however most of the pepper eating community (Visit the hot pepper . com) agrees that there are hotter peppers still to be found. The ghost was tested by NMSU Chile Institute using strict scientific principles & controls, other hotter tested peppers that have followed have had potentially less strict testing but nonetheless.... are indeed noticeably hotter once you try them.
