The Russian Orthodox Church has appointed a temporary leader following the death of Aleksy II. Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad will take up the post. It comes as crowds in Moscow are queuing at the cathedral of Christ the Saviour to see the late Patriarch lying in state.

  • It is unclear. As a theologian at Vatican II council, Joseph Ratzinger was with Nouvelle Théologie of neo-modernists (modernist), a modernist peritus to Cardinal Frings of Köln (Germany). But as Benedict XVI? I do not know. As Cardinal he still was close to heresy in many of his theological books and writings. Always on the edge. He is not the "conservative" the media turn him into. He is only conservative in morality theology. Not in ecclesiology and dogmatics. I have many doubts, sadly...!

  • I realise that the Pope is with modernists?

  • Traditionalist Roman Catholics call Second Vatican Council modernist-influenced. I do so too. Modernism is not Catholicism. Those who remained faithful to authentic, traditional Roman Catholic doctrine of faith, did not sever and are NOT schismatics. It is the modernists who left the Church by heresy.

  • Thanks. I've heard of some group of people sever from Catholicism after the Second Vatican council, calling it modernistic.

  • I am not a Catholic priest. The recent schism in Catholicism? There have been several conflicts, but the Roman Catholic Church of Tradition always remains, despite this current deepest Crisis ever in 2000 years of Church history. It is called Modernism. Then google Modernism, Traditionalist Roman Catholic, SSPX, Crisis, Lefebvre, Thuc, Antonio de Castro Mayer, Tridentine Mass, ecumenism, Dignitatis humanae, Ecône, sedevacantism.

  • Well, I think we can not do anything with that.

Judging by your photo, you are a catholic priest? I'm interested, what was that recent schism in Catholicism.

  • Vietnam, China, Laos, Nepal, Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Moldova, Transnistria, North Korea, are all ruled by communist parties. Other countries in the world have large Communist Parties. I know liberals are often corrupting minds. But too many people are brainwashed and duped by television and other mass media, and ignorant of God, or the problem of abortion etc. They live like spiritual and mental zombies.

  • Well, there is no distinct communistic parties in modern world, except China and some south-american countries. So this threat is no longer dangerous. The other hand, there is no real power given to some christian (or so-called christian) parties in different countries. Liberalists (actually - ZOG) are ruling the world, spreading secularity and antimorality in the people's mind. Modern usual city dweller will think of how to fuck better or earn more money, he's not caring of abortion or Christ.

  • Christian-Democrats do not. But Liberalism and Liberal-Democracy indeed did, and the Cultural Marxism and materialism and apostasy (Voltaire etc.) are the spiritual Communism now destroying Western Europe and even by Hollywood American "culture" the US Christians have been duped and reduced to materialists.

  • funny, both communists and democrats fucked religion. no differencies.
