@airnsmke I think it's just because everything now-a-days is cheap & fast. Get in, make a buck, get out. There are few artists these days - voices are autotuned, live performers lipsync, & the lyrics to the "songs" are about the dark side of life & getting things (& people) cheap & fast. John Denver & other singer-songwriters of his day were truly artists. They could convey feelings and share emotion with you - the common experiences we all share. We could use some of that these days.
