Nook Color (not the Nook Tablet) with Android ICS 4.0.3

Nook Color is running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, 4.0.3 thanks to Cyanogenod version 9.0.0-RCO-NookColor-KANG. You can find it at XDA-Developers.com if they are still up and running. Wifi works. Android Market works. Very smooth. App buttons are large and everything is sized right for the fingers. Fairly smooth, on first touch, there is a split second of lag. Not much of a problem though. I'm streaming radio or music. My google mail and reader works better than ever. Nook books and Google Books are loaded. I could also load the Kindle app and purchase Amazon books if I were of a mind to. Twitter and Facebook work flawlessly. The Nook Color is better than ever now that Android 4.0 is available. Thanks to all the people who have made this possible.

Also, when you download the rom I indicated above, be sure to download the recommended zip file of included 4.0 Google Apps -- look for gapps-ics-4.0.3-sam-noinit.zip­. When in clockwork recovery, wipe cache and data and delvik (under "advanced" option). Then install the ics rom and the gapps AND then roboot. If you don't flash the gapps, you will have no abliity to enter the market, or to load the browser and other things.

Don't flash the nightly 20120117 it was nothing but trouble and had to reboot into clockwork recovery ("n" button and power simulataneously - hold until says rebooting into recovery) and go back to the 20120113 nightly which works pretty good. Some are saying the sound isn't working on this ICS build but it is on the nightly I'm talking about.

@disciplerami I earlier wrote that the video wouldn't play in youtube, but I was trying to play it in the Dolphin browser. The youtube app plays the video just fine.

It wont play the youtube videos. Its running quite well though. The ice cream sandwich is nice. also I haven't found a third party wifi her program that works . Something about the wifi not recognizing ad hoc wifi.l

Is this mod better then the Cyanogen mod developed for the nook color?
