those cars arent that bad. i have had my 91 cavalier for 3+ years now. those are good engines if you take care of them. that engine is also allot simplier than the crap they build today. that engine sounds like it would run another 100K miles if you maintain it. im keeping mine for as long as i can. its reliable and owes me nothing. that exhaust is going to have to be replaced. that car will get you through several winters. give it some credit
strong motors put a windshield spray nozzle just before the throttle plate facing the opposite direction of air flow to form a nice water spray into the engine, it does an amazing effect
