I was saying good bye to another long time game frend and we starting going over our frends that have left the game befor him. Any way far to many to name here so I did a video insted.

You may remember me Edwin, but we started together when it was EQ before EQOA. I am Iarendil Guardian/Paladin and i miss the days when I ran with Legacy of Honor. Although I joined different raid guilds and with them took down bigger mobs I never felt the sense of family and friendship I did in LoH maybe it was because I was still leveling up or maybe just the people, but of all the guilds I joined while playing I have the fondest memories of LoH. Till we meet again onEQ Next for ps3

@legacyofhonor I began EQ in 1999 and just returned after being gone 3 years. In revisiting some of my favorite Old World areas, I thought of one of my best friends in EQ who was killed in a car accident RL - at age 35. Friendships forged online can forge strong bonds.

No Everquest Online Adventures has not been shut down, we are still going, seven years!
As for the content and fan managed servers, that's problematic for legal reasons as well as practical reasons. Without getting into it too much A) SOE would have to sell the rights, even if no profit was turnedover from the operation of running of player made servers B) The content is NOT all on the disc.
C) We have far too few persons who can code to help migrate the servers if need be

@cursivedragon would have been nice if they let fans and players make their own servers to keep it going... the full data files for the thing are on the disc so i don't why not.
