  • I was wondering, if you did the single crochets or slip stitches through the back loops only, would it help the ridge to look less pronounced because it's bordered by the front loops? I'm asking because I have squares that already have an SC border, so I think it might work better than if I had an unbordered granny.

  • @calophi I would think the front loops would create a line around the square. Try it and see if you like the results. With crochet, you can always frog it out!

  • Great tutorials! Thanks. What kind of camera are you using..your close ups are great.

  • @ScreeminMeeme I am using a Samsung Digital Camcorder with a 34x optical zoom. Sorry, I do not have a model number handy.

  • I'm curious about how the other side looks... I like this very much and will try it on my blanket. Thank you very much!

  • @banchie28 Oh! Sorry, I didn't show it. I already removed the stitches and used the squares for another lesson. I'll see what I can do and show it at a later time.

  • Curious . . . would this work using a half double crochet instead of sc. Wondering if the stitch was wider if it would lay even flatter. Thanks so much for your video, this has been bugging me for over a year. For quick baby blankets I make panels on the rectangle kniftyknitter loom and then crochet them together. This will make them look much better. : )

  • This video helped me out so much... I found this awesome blanket and started making it, then half way through I realized it didn't show me how to join the my squares together. However, your video really helped me out with that part of my project and now i can finish my blanket :)

  • i really like your videos!

  • @Bethintx1 Thanks! I'll keep watching. I like your tutorials, they've helped a lot :)
