THIS IS NOT GORILLAZ! The Gorillaz are two people, with assorted composers for certain parts. This is not the real band. Their live performances feature the actual "members" 2-D Murdoc Russel and Noodle on 4 projector screens. Those two guys are Jamie Hewlitt who did tank Girl. Damon Albarn does the music, at least most of it and vocals. Please tell people so that they can know the truth, THIS IS NOT GORILLAZ ITS AN INTIMIDATION! Why do you think they sound different?

To anyone who's all "LOLZ YOU THINK DEY REAL U TARD?!?!?!?!" No, no fan of Gorillaz actually thinks Noodle, 2D, Murdoc or Russel are real, you half-wits, but most of us are quite fond of the story behind the music. So, yes, it's always Damon Albarn singing, but in the fictional world of Gorillaz it's Murdoc singing this particular song.
