Obama McCain Debate Protest at Hofstra

Protest at Obama/McCain Hofstra debate. Veterans from Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) stood on the front lines, trying to get two war veterans into the debate to ask a question to Obama and McCain. Watch as the Long Island police stampede war veterans and protestors on their horses. We were pushed back at least 50ft by police mounted on horses. Why are police being trained to intimidate protestors? Are we still allowed to protest?

"At least 15 people were arrested-including at least five members of [Iraq Veterans Against the War]-on charges of disorderly conduct. Nassau County police on horseback trampled one member of [Iraq Veterans Against the War], Nick Morgan, a veteran who served in Iraq for about a year. His condition is unknown."

He might be questioned about his Dad's involvement in the USS Liberty cover up.
