Morning glory... the whole world seems gay. LOL How the HELL did the meanings of so many things change so drastically? Must have been the 60s & 70s... dirty hippies.

This is really happy music. I would like to see the whole movie. The Pickens sisters were in a Vitaphone short from 1933 called "20,000 Cheers for the Chain Gang." It was a hilarious spoof of some prison movies of the day and had lots of singing and dancing in that early 30s style. They sang When its Darkness on the Delta.

The good-looking fellow with the high voice is Arthur Jarrett.

They don't write songs like that anymore!

The tin man is great. 6 years before the role that would make him famous.

How cool! What a neat treat you must have had seeing this! I've heard these girsl before (knowing they were not the Boswell Sisters) and instantly fell in love with their sound. I only found out today who they were via RadioDismuke, and am so thankful. Going out to see if I can find any of their songs on cd. Wish me luck!! =)
This was before movie people had their teeth capped and veneered within an inch their life. Who was the girl trio? Sounded, but did not look like, the Boswell Sisters.
