A short film by Stan Brakhage
"A photography of the essence of life itself as the interaction of pulsating and commingling containers."
"An opening...to see both the outer surface and inner surface of things at the same time. To have it all, in a way."
"It's too bad I didn't die when I finished it. Because I finished it and then went to the hospital and had a bladder removed from cancer. If I'd have died then that would have been a great film to end on. It's a gift on the edge of doom."
much more beautiful on film, but it's nice to see someone put this on youtube. you are missed, Stan!

is very nice, like when you close your eyes and in the darkness you see all those dancing spots of undefinited colors. we carry those things in our brains since we used to live in caves, or maybe when we were meduses?
