Live snooker coverage is erm...snookered! Actually, this break occurred when the nightly highlights programme, Snooker Extra, failed to start. The programme was played out from Sheffield; eventually the tape is cued up and viewers don't miss any of the action.

YouTube has people of many different interests, in this case TV Presentation enthusiasts, don't like it, don't watch.

I can complete understand your view, the reason this is probably up is just historical and it's pretty rare nowdays to have that.

As for testcard, some REALLY love them, others its just meh... but for the most part people are interested in TV Channel design, such as idents etc..

I remember now when I was 4, I was watching The Simpsons and all of a sudden near-enough the same message apeared on screen. That was back in maybe 2000 or 2001. Does anyone have that footage? BTW it was on BBC 2.

I respect that, but normally having your programme interupted by this crap makes you mad. Having to endure it on the net as well, when you are trying to watch snooker videos is doubly so, Tell me what presentation is going on here ?

At least I have learned that there are people who get their kicks from watching "normal service will be resumed..." screens. What else ? The test card ?
