I have 14 autographed Patrick Roy hockey cards from his rookie year to the vezina trophy to when he was on the sherbrooke canadiens...how much money am I looking at nowadays?...I use to know his son couple years back..well I got his dad to sign them all for me lol.. he's a really good dude!

God I do miss Roy in the net. That guy is a stud.
-
hes a great goalie thats for sure, but iremember every time he came to detroit, especially in 2002 playoffs, we always chanted ROY and we didnt spell it pat wah, it was pat roy lol
-
im an islander girl but roy was and always will b the best goalie in NHL history-end of story :)

@iamfoob at least he played for montreal, and yea it' been forgotten for a long time now, if it wasn't do you think he would let them retire his jersey?

@LukeCawston on Mario Tremblay! Nice!!
-
Mario Tremblay should be banned from anything Habs.
He made this guy leave cause he had no clue how to run a hockey team.
Too bad for Montreal hiring that idiot as coach. Go Fuck yourself Mario Tremblay.
I will never forget neither will the all the Habs fans.
The guy shouldn't have ever left Montreal playing for an American team like Colorado was a joke.

It's still hard to beleive he was really that young once. Time goes by so fast.
Habs and Avs both were able to enjoy having St Patrick for his career.
He came to Colorado because of bad blood but it's probably long been forgotten.
How i wish he was still in net for the Avs right now.

I'm sure things have since blown over too between Tremblay and Roy, although fans in Montreal will probably never forgive Tremblay.
You and me both on him still playing though, although I'd want him playing for the Habs :D

It gives me chills watching this. I was 10 years old in 1986 and knew I was seeing something special. My family were Sabres fans so I watched alone on a little black and white tv as Roy lead Montreal to the cup. I've been a huge fan ever since!
Nice video!

Thanks so much for sharing that memory. Lucky you, I was only born the year after. It must've been something to see the skinny little goaltender that everyone thought would never make the NHL, leading the Habs the way he did.
