@MrMega08 you're an idiot! i know i'm just stating the obvious to everyone, but really! do you expect the cameraman to go into an all out rage to save this one animal, when many others will die without this footage? i'm sure that the individual filming this was very determined and brave! without it, there is no proof that these horrendous acts exist. you speak like you are standing up for animals, but why bash the people who are trying to help??

Funny thing is that they sit there and watch the animal suffer to get footage. If they cared so much they would abandon the camera. Instead they steal happy healthy dogs and neuter them and sell them. These videos are made by someone with leather seats in their car and leather Nikes on their feet. Hypocracy.

@lmh7015 Don't mean to debate but the animal fur has a unique quality of absorbing cold and emiting heat. No other synthetic materials could match the natural animal hide or hair in that department. Maybe you can compromise by allowing to take the fur after the animal dies of natural causes.

@yoyoboy70 i am one of the people doing the skinning and it is done in a humane way. you should pay close attention to my other comment on here so you know what you are supporting.

you shouldn't start off by trying to get people to stop wearing fur products, that won't ever work. You should start by trying to get the people that do the skinning..etc to do it in a more humane way, then maybe later try to stop people from buying it.

the hsus lies all the time. why do you people believe this. the money that was sent to them to rescue animal after hurricane katrina didn't go to it at all. the fur trade really supports healthy animal populations. furbearers easily overpopulate. when they do they suffer from disease and starvation. i have personally seen a raccoon suffering from distemper due to not enough hunting and trapping. contact your states furbearer biologist and ask about the imporance of trapping and the fur trade.
