Clean set up! Two questions are you running 600's or 1K's and what size, diameter hole saw did you use for those uni-seals (2")? I know the PVC is 2"; but I am having trouble with my 3/4" uni-seals as I didn't know what size to drill those out too. So, what size hole saws should I use for the 2" and the 3/4"? Really appreciate it. Again nice set up. Mahalo!

running 600's. we run 2" uniseals so you have to cut a perfect 3" hole and for 3/4" you need to cut out a 1 1/4" hole. i recommend buying a hole saw for that so you get a perfect cut circular hole. ****note**** when cutting a hole with the saw, CUT THE HOLE IN REVERSE (counter clockwise), if not then you'll tear up the bucket when it grabs while its rotating clockwise.

Please, can you tell me more about the buckets. I went to bascousa and having one hell of a hard time finding your buckets. What size are they, do you have the actual link? Please provide as much info as possible, thank you!

@MichiganMarihuana THANK YOU! I had found the containers late last night, but your uniselas link was the best pricing i have found so far. How did you get black lids? What size are your pots? Do you favor this over any other system such as EBB&GROW EBB&FLOW COCO.... Im in a weird spot, simply because #1 space and #2 my state. Would you recommend me running this DWC system with 2 1,000Watts and using the DWC system for 12 plant sites? Thank you again for all of your professional input

i spray painted the lids black. my net pots are 6". i like dwc because its simple and works. i'm sure other hydro systems work great too. its basically all preference. i think two 1k lights would work fine for a 12 plants. if you're set on doing the 12 site 8 gallon systems, i recommend a water chiller and air stone in each bucket. a warm room means warm water. warm water doesnt hold as much oxygen as cold. roots need lots of oxygen especially if its going to be submerged.

Did you run with 2kW? What kind of yield did you achieve, how long did you veg, and what was your approx plant height?
