Forgive me but I cannot be bothered to attempt to convert a scientifically minded type who only trusts what 'scientists' tell him from one year to the next. Maybe one day you'll experience something that will blow your mind because science can't explain it. Until then you can trust what you want. I don't mean any of this disrespectfully, if you only believe in science that's up to you. I have a feeling there'd be no point.

and ouijji board was originally a kids game, later appropriated by woos. which works on the Ideomotor effect.

its up to you to explain 'ghosts'. give us some theory. to start you off, how do they fit into our evolution - what was their purpose. how is their information is stored without substance. how they circumvent entropy (2nd law of thermodynamics) etc

What you need to do is the mistake I made by doing a ouija board, after which your friends' sister sees dark, hooded figures in her doorway at night which each night appeared closer to her bed until after a week of this she woke up with blood and scratches on her. And don't talk to me about 'well studied'. Scientists are just men like you and me who are just learning and making mistakes, they change their discoveries from one year to the next.
