War Protests or Pro-Hamas Hate Rallies?
Thousands of people have participated in demonstrations throughout the country that are critical of Israel's military incursion into Gaza. Thousands gathered January 10 in Washington's Lafayette Park. A coalition of national Muslim-American groups, including the Muslim American Society and the Council on American-Islamic Relations organized bus caravans to bring protesters to the capital.

Rather than simply take issue with the battle in Gaza, demonstrators in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Cleveland, Anaheim, Houston and other cities repeatedly have engaged in ugly hate speech and chants that echo the goals and dogma of Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Fistfights and chants calling for the murder of Jews and invoking the Holocaust expose the true motivation behind distressingly large segments of the protesters. After all, the conflict Israel wages is against Hamas, a terrorist organization whose charter contains virulent anti-Semitism, calls for Israel's destruction and rejects any peaceful settlement to the conflict.

As this report shows, radical, hateful attacks have been prominent in rallies across the country.

the swatiskas are used to represent the fact that the current israeli govt is more like nazi germany than they are like the US. I find it funny that Israel has built it's own warsaw ghetto in gaza. I would have expected european jews who immigrated to israel would have been more careful not to put others through similar torture and anti semitism that they themselves experienced under the nazis. These words are extremely hateful. It is OK that they feel sympathy for the palestinian people, I too feel pain when I see the bodies of dead palestinian children. But it is a difference between speaking out against Israels actions, and taking it so far as to harass people of an ethnic origin.

The world we live has freedom of speech.

People have the right to think what they want, as long as they can respect other people. This has nothing to with respect, this is incitement of hatred and discrimination, and that is NOT freedom of speech, mutural respect or critisism of a state.

If they come to stay here, in Europe, they need to respect the law, and other citizens. Period.
