Canon XH A1S & Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0

The Video Clips were recorded with a Canon XH A1s and edited with Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0. I am beginner semi Pro videographer. I purchase my canon XH A1S about 2 months ago and just purchase Sony Vegas about a month ago. This is my first edit with Sony Vegas. The Canon XH A1s is my first Prosumer camcorder. It produces the best video I ever seen in a camcorder.

Yes I have some problems with Sony Vegas losing frames when I capture video in HDV.

I never get a lost frame capturing DV

This problem exist because my computer is old. computer specs;

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard

AMD Athlon 2500 processor clock at 2.2

3 gigabytes of DRR 3200 ram

5600 Geforce video card 256 DDR ram

The above specs are below Sony Vegass HDV Capturing specifications. I hope this changes when I upgrade to a Duo/Quad core processor computer..

Hello mate, I'm about to buy an XHA1s, and am already convinced that it's the right camera for me. I heard however, that Sony Vegas loses a few frames in the capture stage. Have had any such problems?
