How often should I wash em?

I used to wash my hair weekly and condition them like my normal hair, as you suggested, but after my extension got older they started to tangle like crazy! I was then told that you should NOT wash them weekly, and should condition them with a hair cholesterol product (hair mayonnaise) and wrap them in plastic wrap with the condition on for a few hours, then rinse and let air dry. Now that I follow this regiment my extensions are extremely healthy and not dry.

@millzoe I usually wash mine about, every 2 to three days, it depends on how oily your hair is.

Sara, how often are you suppose to wash your extensions? and does it damage them a lot? I've washed mine once in 2 months, they didn't really seem like they needed it at all, I just thought maybe it was time.
