Iran was modernizing so fast under the Pahlevis... now look how the socialist-muslim mullahs have screwed it up! If not for them, I think Iran today would be a 1st world nation, rich like Saudi or the UAE, but with a better diversified economy.

It is no accident that these days the leftists and muslim militants are working so closely together - same freedom-crushing ideas under different names.

@Fravahar Great video man. But I don't get why all the hate on Islam. yeah Khomeini did alot of bad stuff etc. but he's not representative of all Muslims. Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi was also Muslim although he held mainly secular legal and political values. In fact he stated in an interview that he was inspired by Imam Ali at one point. So I think the focus by the people should be on Khomeini and his "Islamic Republic" not on the faith of Islam itself.
