Willie and Skip grew up together in Yazoo City Mississippi. They were best of friends. When Willie left for Oxford University he thought about Skip everyday. When Willie got word that Skip had died Willie said that Skip laid buried in his heart. Willie Morris always wrote about the important things in life. He was an only child. Skip was an only dog.

  • the most true and the most sad true-story I´ve ever see.

I think such love is only given by an animal.

I don´t think, I can see this movie again...too sad...

  • Thanks Alexandra for stopping by and visiting for a while. This is truly a sad story and like our canine family members our human love ones also lay buried in our hearts.

  • I have a 6 year old female Pomeranian named Skippy. I'm 13 now and I've had her ever since I was 7. I love her to death and me and her have been through EVERYTHING together. From losing my mom, having to move from the farm that we both were raised on,losing my dad, etc. When I get old enough I'm getting a tattoo of her. People think I'm crazy for having that idea but they just don't know how much I love her and she loves me. I just pray to God he'll let her stick around for a while...

  • @FlattsFan102 I stuck around long enough to take care of my wife Judy. Now she lays buried in my heart. I have to stick around long enough to take care of Rainydog now. He's my best friend and my family. Thanks for stopping by.
