There's a fish in the tank that'll pretty soon fill up with mank
The plants will perish in the garden because the weeds will intensify and harden
The baby in the cot will fester decay and rot
Even the spider on the shelf will eventually have to eat itself
In fact the only thing with survival skill
Is the cactus on the windowsill
