E' vero che l'alluminio in gran parte è tossico ma, come d'altra parte per tutte le pentole da cucina fabbricate in Europa, si usa un alluminio particolare non tossico ed inoltre lo stesso subisce un trattamento di ossidazione per cui la superficie viene indurita e resa atossica.
dal 1998 in Italia ed Europa esiste una regolamentazione chiamata Rohs che garantisce a questo proposito la salute degli utilizzatori.
