[Rant] 2 Memories, 3 Medals, 4 Switches...What's Next?

This is just a rant about the pattern that we've been seeing in toys after Kamen Rider Kiva. All of this is personal opinion and you DO not have to agree with anything I say in this rant.

then why dont you stop buying it? Im a rider fan like anyone else...but you dont have to buy into it. With fourze, i was gonna buy the belt, and then buy the switches that were my favorite. You make it sound as if you don't have a choice but to buy everything toei shells out every year. I keep hearing you and shuki saying that buying toys like this is really "putting you guys in a deficit"...which if it is, then why not just stop for a while? really shuki is the main culprit for this. but still.

@paper287 I just wanted to state a point but it doesnt really matter because tokusatsu is ALL ABOUT TOYS. I was told this from a particular guy that lives in japan named "Gun Caliber" The whole Shuki thing is a mere joke but yes, I know my spending habits are quite bad but I make due with my income here and unemployment. I love all the things I buy, if I dont, I sell them back or donate them. I enjoy what I do here on YT and thats reviewing toys.

I understand your Rant deeply man, and I'm like how you were feeling in the video. I'm a huge rider fan, and I got into kamen rider when I first heard of decade, cause that's around the time I found JEFusion, where I could actually watch a series. I'm sick and tired of the high budgets and the excessive need for the medals, and the switches. I miss how it was in den-0, and I know the first belt I'm gonna get is from kiva, or den-0. If they don't use high budget, then the shows would be better.

AND I even though we are in vast minority, there is bunch of people outside Asia who really got addicted to Ranger Keys, Medals, Switched and they feed Bandai with their money to get plastic things they want so much.

Ok, hope that Zou will understand everything, have a great day and collect stuff you want:)! I am opening eyes for Korean Version Faiz (Belt).

And last thing, You said that we have POWER to show them that we don't want this trend to go on. Unfortunately, I think we are minority. We, collectors from outside of Asia, are probably 5% of Kamen Rider market. They will not hear our voice, as long as kids in Japan buy these keys, switches, bananas, whatever for their henshin devices. If I have lived in Japan, I'd had done same thing. I mean getting candy switch there is probably like getting packet of M&Ms on grocery store here where I live.

Really, now I realised that It's better to collect older belts. Yeah, they cost alot, but at least when You will buy one, or two things, you feel complete. Your toy have nothing to hide. You can access all features. I like the gimmick of Kuuga Belt, the fact you attach a additional part to "henshin" into Rising. Even if you don't have this add-on you can activate sound, if you're smart.

I will buy Fourze Driver when this madness will end. Again I will be getting it from AmiAmi. CS Toys maybe have a lot of re stocks, but getting belt for a full price, and pay horrendous shipping fee? Thanks. CS Toys seems to be in general heaven for these impatient people who want their medals, switches, ranger keys as fast as possible or they will die, and price have no matter for them. When they will bust their asses to get Pen Switch, I will slowly save money for Faiz Belt.

You think, you're holding real medal! But yeah, I bought Driver in July 2011 and I still got only 4 medals. Now medal sets are easier to get, but spending over 120$ to get all 6 sets and extra 90$ for piece of plastic and foam (sorry, Medal Holder) AND probably next 90 for Taja Spinner to get full set of 24? I pass. And now Fourze. I don't even consider getting any extra switches apart of some Rider Switches (of course, they had to release Faiz in Televi Magazine and Decade with Ganbaride album)

Now, they can even make Fourze Memory and that will work in Double Driver! But Candy (and probably gashapon) are let down cause they don't have lights, and the is no standing-by and activation sound. But the are still cool, I plan getting Kuuga, Faiz and Decade Memories at least.

I was lucky, that I managed to get OOO belt 2 months before last episode (thanks to AmiAmi I got it for cheap). This belt is also very enjoyable. I like medals, the fact that metal rims makes them heavy.

I even take into a consideration a purchase of second Driver just to get new cards, that I will not use in belt, or at least not that commonly like my first cards. Now I'm waiting for Korean Double Driver, I watched the series, also very enjoyed it. Idea of 'thingies", not belt, being the source of sound was kinda weird, but then I realised that this increases "lifespan" of the toy. When they produced Decade, they had no idea how will next show look, so they didn't program Double sound in belt.

I totally agree with You! I have been Kamen Rider fan for 10-9 months. My first series was Black. First belt I got was DecaDriver. I'm very happy that I got Korean Ver. for decent price. Well, cards are not bad, because You can simply print a blank card with barcode to activate sound, that's what I did. I got FINAL KAMEN ATTACK FORM RIDE sound :). Of course I recommend this belt, You can watch my shitty review of it. But what I don't like about the cards, is the fact You can easily damage them.

@zeronxepher ya and i get wat ya mean its like back then it was like all the belts were simple and easy but now there all like holoy shit gotz to get all the memories, holy shit gots to get all the medals, holy shit now i gotz to get all the switches haha aaaaah toy collecting is soke crazy stuff :P
