I do not own this video.

That's quite an old documentary, which name is "leopards of Sawai Madipur".

But that doesn't matter, it shows how quickly a deadly fight can occur between these.

AMUR LEOPARD CONSERVATION
With 30 in the wild, it is the most endangered big cat species on Earth. ALTA is implementing a wide series of projects to save the species. Support at: http://www.amur-leopard.org

BIOSPHERE EXPEDITIONS
Their philosophy is based on a voluntarism principle, where you will spend your holidays helping scientists on a conservation project, see : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_VTteMmrJ4
Here is their leopard conservation project in Namibia http://www.biosphere-expeditions.org/2-week-expeditions/wildlife-volunteering...

HUMAN THREAT
Mainly habitat loss. But leopards are also:
killed for commercial reasons (fur, others), leopard-human conflict, hunted for fun. Kept unfree (zoos..., in small cages without vegetation + exhibited all day to another species). Used as tourist attractions. Petted. And surely others.

  • @solidpitbull9211 You can check hyenas too, which are practically wild dogs, with much larger teeth, have much more experience than any game bred dog ever, and can be taken down by a leopard in a matter of seconds.1 leopard let alone one lion could take like 1 to 4-5 of them depending on the situation and aggressiveness of the fight. The pitbull could and would NEVER stand a real chance among such fights. We are talking about wild animals here, not some dogs that can be taken out with a bite.

  • @solidpitbull9211 IN THE PIT! NOT in the wild! With a single bite, the pitbull's or any other dog's neck is OVER. The lion cannot be killed even by a tiger after a long fight, its so hard to kill such a beast. ( respectively the same applies to a tiger that is fought by a lion ). We are talking about 250-350 kg wild BEASTS man that know how to fight back and have jaws and paws three or four times the pitbull's jaws and paws and are out in the wild. This conversation couldn't be more retarded.

  • @solidpitbull9211 For f**ks sake man. Bulls can be taken down by the pitbulls(and bull terriers and MANY other dog breeds)because they actually cant quite fight back with bites, swipes and other techniques since once the dog has caught its nose, mouth or neck,it's just over. The leopard is like 100 times faster than any dog,has much more aggressiveness than ANY game bred dog and can take down wild borre, hyena, and other WILD animals that compared to the pitbull are much stronger and hard to kill.

  • @solidpitbull9211 The reality is: You will have many dead pitbulls before the pack of pitbulls can take down a lion and that is IF they can actually aim for the throat to actually suffocate and/or break the windpipe.

  • @jamesmoshnl **pack of dogs**; to add, when I said "NEVER go heads on", I meant to never actually fight a lion.

  • @solidpitbull9211 (2nd part) - i'm saying that the sacrifice is too much for one lion for any poacher. You would need at least 4-6 pitbulls. I know a pitbull is strong but a jab from a lion's arm can break a dog's leg easily. Lions have been in battles with each other with ferocious bites and the lion can still get up and walk it off. Imagine a lion's PSI bite vs a pitbull's PSI bite. If a Lion can easily wrap his mouth around the back of a pitbull, it will easily snap render it useless.

  • @solidpitbull9211 You're flip flopping. Basically I corrected you that you mentioned pitbulls were used for lion-baiting which is entirely false. In my sentence, I miscorrected a word, its supposed to be "the"(pitbull), not "a". As you can tell, I finished the sentence with PITBULL. And I have read books on lions and poachers. The R.R. was used to bait lions but to NEVER go heads on with a lion EVEN with an R.R. pack of wolves. I'm not saying the dogs can't kill a lion, (read 2nd part)

  • @black2011gt Well basically I never said pitbull(S) can't take down a lion. His mere statement was that pitbulls were used for lion-bait which is FALSE in which he now corrected himself just now. Read the comment below.

  • @urbanurban12 hey ignorant prick! im here to educate u since u have not been to animal fighting before.beleive me or not, ive been participated in almost all types of fighting for many years such as dogfighting, underground human fighting, exhibition match between 2 dogo argentino vs 1 puma which the puma got killed,3 gamepits vs 1 lion which the lion got bitten and siezed on the nose and the others went to the neck and to the side lip.the lion shake them through the air but the pits wont let go

  • @mariobahama yeah hyena known to have the strongest biting psi among mammal but they dont possess fighting spirit against big cats.hyenas are the best in terms of their jaws but they are cowards.

ive been to a lot countries before to participate dogfighting, some made it in secret since it's illegal but for the legal some made it in the open. in mexico ive seen secret exibition fight between 3 pits vs 1 african lion(secretly taken from the zoo). the lion did not die but it simply gave up.
