  • Coop never should have attempted to enter the Black Lodge. He was too flawed. Major Briggs (and perhaps Andy, who had a perfect soul) would have waltzed in and out of there unscathed.

  • Very, very cool...!! And loved the pic, of course !!!

    Very ,very appropriate to Cooper...

  • @malathis0 I was always interested in what their plan was for Johnny. In one of the deleted scenes, Dr. Jacoby says that his childlike state is self-induced and he chooses to be there. If he is hiding from some sort of traumatic knowledge, this makes me think that he, like Audrey, was gifted as a sort of seer and had some connection to the lodges.

  • What if Audrey's brother went into the lodge?

  • Haha haha- haha......

  • I wonder if the Black Lodge can be viewed as Chapel Perilous, in which the individual cannot be certain as to whether they have been aided or hindered by some force from Outside. Wilson claimed the Chapel had two exits: one made you a Stone Crazy, the other a universal-agnostic.

Maybe the Black and White Lodges were always the same place. Cooper, apprehensive, saw it as a place of evil and malevolence. It treated him as such. It's like LSD: you get what you take in. Forgive me, I am very drunk.

  • no one waltzes in and out of the black lodge. it is the place where we go to be purified of our flaws in preparation of entry into the white lodge which is the only way out of the black lodge

  • @L8NiteWorker What was his flaw? :)

  • @Hoopermazing Thats a good point! Although Cooper is such a badass, I think your right, Andy who had a perfect soul would be impervious to the evil black lodge. hmm And that would of been interesting as no one would of suspected it!

  • @L8NiteWorker Bingo!

  • @BlackOut0189 Andy wasn't scared of anything. He was sensitive. If someone was murdered, he couldn't hide his sadness (and that is an indication of his unusual goodness.) However, when the shit hit the fan, Andy acted without hesitation. Also, if I remember correctly, he "accidentally" found the train car, Leo's stash and the Owl Cave map. He was almost the R2D2 of TP (Everything that happened in all of the Star Wars movies is because of the actions of R2)

  • @Hoopermazing What do you mean Andy? He was scared of everything!
