There is a huge amount of freedom that comes to you when you take nothing personally. You will only need to trust yourself to make responsible choices. You are never responsible for the actions of others; you are only responsible for you. When you truly understand this, and refuse to take things personally, you can hardly be hurt by the careless comments or actions of others.

Pase lo que pase a tu alrededor, no lo tomes personal ... lo que gente haga no es por ti, Es por ellos mismos. Todas las personas viven en su propio sueño, en su propia mente, sino que están en un mundo completamente diferente al que vivimos, cuando nos tomamos algo personal, hacemos la hipótesis de que saben lo que hay en nuestro mundo, y tratamos de imponer nuestro mundo en su mundo.
Incluso cuando una situación parece muy personal, aunque otros te insultan directamente, no tiene nada que ver contigo. Lo que dicen, lo que hacen, y las opiniones que emiten son de acuerdo a los acuerdos
que tienen en sus propias mentes ... Incluso la opinión que tiene de tí mismo no es necesariamente cierto, por lo tanto no es necesario tomar todo lo que oyes en tu propia mente personal ... No tomes nada personal porque al tomar las cosas personalmente creas para sufrir por nada ....
Cuando realmente veas a otras personas como son, sin tomarlo como algo personal, nunca podras ser herido por lo que dicen o hacen . Incluso si otros te mienten, está bien. Están mintiendo porque tienen miedo. Hay una gran cantidad de libertad que llega a ti cuando tu no tomas nada personalmente. No tendrás que depositar tu confianza en lo que otros hacen o dicen. Usted sólo tendrá que confiar en ti mismo para tomar decisiones responsables. Nunca se es responsable de las acciones de los demás, tu sólo eres responsable de ti. Cuando realmente entiendas esto, y te nieges a tomar las cosas personalmente, difícilmente podras ser lastimado por los comentarios descuidados o acciones de otras personas. Podras viajar por el mundo con el corazón completamente abierto y nadie podra hacerte daño.

It is not about being an unfeeling robot, or ignoring your (or others') emotional state(s). It's about refusing to let others' emotional states (especially poisonous ones) wound your own. If you let others' emotional poison hurt you, you then tend to inflict that poison on still more people. If you refuse to let it poison you ("don't take it personally"), then the hurt stops there, and you might even be able to help the one who would have hurt you.

Nice video. However I feel that this information is very disempowering. If I understand correctly. You are saying that people should depersonalize our interactions with others in order to avoid our feelings being hurt. Is not empathy and caring for others more important than our own feelings ? Isn't learning to "deal" with feelings (ours and others) a part of our spiritual evolution ? Our emotions are what make us human......and special. I for one do not want to be an unfeeling robot !

Thank you much, I appreciate this one truely, it's true, every one peace is dreaming his own life in his own mind That's why I always felt something's not right in my life, now I know, I am the only one who is able to look through my eyes and every single word a person speaks is according to himself, not to me, and I made the mistake to take everthing personal so that I took any problem of others on my shoulders and one day I broke down und died therefore necessarily to find out who "I" am

We each of us have to take responsibility for our own thoughts, actions and ultimately reactions. "Don't take anything personally" means you will find when most people are cruel, nasty or vindictive the anger is possibly more to do with themselves and their pain, unhappiness and inability to cope with certain situations. Karma - what you give out you get returned. It's a very simple concept but at times difficult to put into practice. "Unfeeling Robot"? No - Loving Human Being? - Yes.

Now, don't take this personally Clarybel, but in reality you're not a we, & I'm not living in a dream world, regardless what you imagine. While it's easy not to be hurt by what others say about you, what they do actually can. When another person decides they're gonna' do you some harm, you'd better be prepared to defend yourself - unless you're ready to die, & that's no lie at all. Try to think it through logically, & you may understand the truth.
