-Cutting with 1/4" Carbide 1/4" Deep 300+ipm
Drive:
-440oz/in Tormach Stepper Motors
-Leadshine M880A (X and Y axis) and DM556 (Z axis) stepper drivers
-EMC2.1 linux machine control software
-Gear Rack and pinion for Y axis
-Chain Driven X axis
-Ball screw driven Z axis
-Cutting speed for this guitar is 150ipm

Of course, they didn't build the machine. Now, even if this is home-made (if the CNC is in your garage), what is the point, cause everyone can do it like this? Me and my friend are building guitars from scratch and we do it all by hand. Of course, we are nor AS precise as your machine is,but it makes sense...

I designed and built this machine using ideas from many other youtube videos of people's homemade cnc routers. I have also made some by hand. Of course this is a copy of a fender but it is just as challenging to design your own body style on a computer. Then you can make precise tweaks to it later.
