@sjh012055 Well henna does not lighten your hair. If you want a lighter color first get a permanent hair color in the color you want to lighten, and then after that use the henna in Strawberry Blonde, you need to first lighten your roots, so that the henna will grab onto your hair, otherwise its not really going to give you are vibrant rich look. I am a natural redhead, I listed below how I do my henna procedure, I like to change my tone each season I use red and copper mixed.
@maleficentdiva I've been using Lush and I want to switch because it makes my hair too dark. Do you think that using the Champagne or Strawberry Blonde first would lighten my hair? I didn't think that henna could lighten.
When I use your henna, I leave it on 1 hour and sometimes overnight! leaving it on for only 10 or 20 minutes does not do anything, you should have shown her hair color outside in the sunlight, so people will get a better idea of the the real color, because it does not show up inside unless you are in direct light. I have used your henna for 4 years, and I love it. also another idea, you should show models in each of the colors, not just only two. :)
I think Mary would look better if her color was richer, more red in it, it would help her eyes to pop out more, and look younger her hair and skin look too washed out, all the same color. I am a hair stylist, and I see this everyday!
This is a great product to add shine, thickness. It also works well on hair that is curly or wavy, (my hair is fine and wavy) it helps to define it. I am 26 yo and I LOVE THIS, I use it every 3-4 weeks I love the glow it gives. I think the darker colors look better than the lighter ones. I would suggest getting two shade to mix for a more natural look ( i do) I mix the copper and red shade together and it is perfect, and Paula is right the longer you let it on the richer the color.
Hello Paula, I wanted to say that I have used the JFR henna for about 4 years, I am a natural redhead, I use it to add shine and richness (my colors are copper and red, I mix them. I first use a permanent color in a reddish gold base, so the henna will grab on better, and then I mix half red and half copper, I leave it on for about 1hr, and the color is beautiful, I like my hair to be vibrant and rich so my blue eyes and fair skin pop.
did you just put shit on her hair :O
