This is from the quarter finals of the 2011 FIRST Robotics competition in Pittsburgh. The red alliance, made up of teams lll4, 1503 and 3492, the Canadian/Canadian/West Virginia alliance went on to win the event.

The roboGENS thank SIMBOTICS and SPARTRONICS for choosing us to play on their alliance. We also salute MARS, (Mountaineer Area Robotics) without whom we would not exist.

  • Congrats on qualifying for St Louis. It wouldn't have felt right without you guys. Yes we would love to get videos and pics.

  • 1114's robot and programming were awesome, but not nearly as impressive as their people. FIRST Robotics places huge importance on "Gracious Professionalism and cooperation among competitors. 1114 and Morgantown's 2614 (MARS) exhibit this in all they do. It was a privilege to work with them both.

  • LOL that green robot killed us

  • It was a great moment for us (MARS) to see a team we got the privilege to work with win this event. We were so happy for your success. I have some video and photos of your machine if you are interested. :)

  • 1114 always makes robots that can do the job by itself. Their designs aren't anything too advanced, alot of it is just sensors and good programming, which is why they always get the job done so fast and don't waste any time. Also, sheet metal can work wonders!
