Example: Katrina! Red cross was there immediatley plus took care of everyone without any problems in their organization. FEMA however sat on their hands and took more than a week to get the help out and still screwed that up. The government never helps the source just themselves. Wake up its just a way to get votes!!!

A doctor will never deny you health care unless maybe your at a government run hospital. There are private non profit organizations that raise money to help those who are poor pay their bills.The gov. is not the ones we should intrust with helping us the non profits are.

Should we do like with credit debt and pass it on to my loved ones? Or be smart and choose either to always have health insurance or choose to have a health savings account? The whole country shouldn't have to pay for idiots who don't prepare for the worst. Malpractice insurance to cover the ridiculous suits are what cause health care to be so high. Reform that also. Health care is by law available to all wether they pay or not.

Sorry but your wrong.If insurance comp. did that they would be exposed for it and know one would buy their insurance thus they'd go out of business. They may refuse to cover preexisting conditions which only makes since. If I chose to not have insurance & didn't take care of myself & got cancer then got health insurance I then die 6 months later after they spend over $100,000's for medical costs who then continue's to pay for my balance when I'm dead?

Don't you people try to compare/politicize this into the US health reform. In the US we have insurance companies who purposefully deny people life-saving procedures (and they die) because the insurance companies don't want to foot the bill. Or people just die because they can't afford health care. It's disgusting.

These people are not saying they want to get rid of NHS, they are saying that they want to get rid of a rightfully stupid program that it has apparently started.

This is a true & tragic story, from one of my best friends. I went to the funeral which was full of 16 year old friends. Please help support this cause to help prevent more people getting mis diagnosed by telephone with fatal consequences. Many Thanks & Best Wishes Ptol Slattery

Remember that every lazy scumbag in this country has a part in this too. Every penny that's wasted on people not willing to pay their way is a penny not spent on the services that the rest of us are paying for and should be able to expect. The government has to make sure it can provide the healthcare we deserve and that means clamping down on freeloaders. If you're a freeloader you've played your part in this too!
