Assembly of the current world's most powerful laser, the OMEGA EP at the Univ. of Rochester's Laboratory for Laser Energetics. The laser is capable of producing pulses of light in excess of 1 Petawatt (10^15 watts) for laser fusion research. User

@wohooo0 It's an interesting thought, but actually even if you doubled the entire world's energy consumption and converted that entire supply to fusion power, the total world output of helium from fusion would be equal to about 0.5% of current global helium consumption.

@Mediph They didn't. But because there's nothing for them to eat inside the cleanroom they all just died after a very short time. Occasionally, you will still find the odd dead ladybug in some difficult to access corner. :)
