Creed - Overcome (Bass Cover By Alterbassman)

After a long while of inactivity from myself uploading more vids and now that Creed is back i thought about doing this cover.


This is standard tunning on a 5 strings bass but since i got only 4 strings i had to re-tune mine meaning this:

4th 3rd 2nd 1st
B E A D

Its cool i just watched your video over and over and tried to play exactly what your fingers were doing and i figured it out by playing along with it, so thanks for showing your fingers so up close, haha

Awesome! it's really good to know this vid served you well.

i couldn't find a good angle for recording due to light conditions so this wasn't on purpose...i never realized about that up closed fingers until today hahaha :D

but in the end it's all that matters when you try to learn a song

Good cover but that isnt the correct tuning even on a 5 string brian tunes his bass for almost all songs on full circle from low to high G# C# F# B E but on songs like overcome that are Drop B tune the C# down to a B. Basically its 1 1/2 steps down from standard. Good cover tho

As you see i have 4 strings but with some re-tuning it sounds as a 5 strings bass...it's no big deal :)
