camaro z28 vs vr6

Sebas in his VR6 racing my Z28 camaro. He had ski racks and heavy rims. My Camaro obviuosly had some issues cuz a Z28 350 V8 stock is defenetly way faster than what I ran that day!!! lol

VW makes a standard V6 as well as the VR, used in Audis and some Passats. Bora actually refers to a NE wind that blows through the Adriatic Sea, which in turn was derived from the Greek mythos figure Boreas, the north wind. Jetta is derived from the German word for jet-stream. bmaster, don't try to tell the meanings of words in a language you don't speak. If you're going to say something about VW, make sure you get your facts straight.

@jaked316 that is A VR6 Not a 4 banger vw has a 4 cylinder, 4 cylinder Turbo AND VR6 Which is a V6. in those production years.

@bobschmoot1 you have a point in some aspects, but in reality power to weight (assuming you can shift correctly and you dont have some shit stock flywheel) is actually everything. Traction is important though, but im just sayin lol

That Jetta is a V6, not a 4-banger. They have 200 hp stock and with some mild cam upgrades, an exhaust setup and the right software its not a stretch to get over 300 hp. And it doesnt cost that much to get there. I've seen some VR6's with a turbo setup making 400 hp as a daily driver. Japanese cars would crap the bed. Just saying VW's and Japanese 4 bangers are different animals. Not to say VW's dont have their problems. Electrical issues can be a nightmare.

@bmaster8 Bora is a winter wind which blows intermittently over the coast of the Adriatic Sea, as well as in parts of Greece, Russia, Turkey, and in the Sliven region of Bulgaria. VW had a wind thing going on for a while. The Mk3 Jetta was called Vento which means "wind" in both Portuguese and Italian. I believe the Jetta name was dropped in Europe in 1992. Even the Mk6 is called the NCS. Only North America kept the Jetta name.
