The flares were fired in the south of the city, and about 2 hours after the first sightings came in. This is on record from the US military. Must be some amazing flares, that can be fired, then travel back in time, and show up south of where the sightings were.

I saw a massive blinking light that went from one horizon to another in under ten seconds. The interesting thing was that the blinks stretched out as one would expect when travelling at great speed. I was with a group of about eight people, but only one other saw what I saw. I just chalked it up as an Undentified Flying Object. To believe that it was piloted by ETs would just be speculative. This happened in summer 1987 in Gimli, Manitoba & I've always wondered if others saw it. Well?

I don't care if you don't believe me, but me and my father saw that in Portugal, western Europe, no lights but the shape of a giant "thing" passing by on Friday, March 14th 1997... If I saw that alone I could said that it was my brain playing a trick on me but two people saw the same thing at the same place and at the same time

@kingeggzzz ,I believe it's nothing but military flares. Don't you think if they were actually space crafts...that the military would have scrambled jets to the area? Are all you people stupid? we could have jets there in ten minutes! But not for flares!
