Big Ten champion Michigan State takes on Pac Ten champ Southern California at the 1988 Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. MSU defeated USC in East Lansing 27-13 on Labor Day to kick off the 1987 season, and now the two teams would have their rematch on New Year's Day.
Can anyone tell me who #86 was on MSU that season?

@vidEvWill Very true. At least he admitted to cheating and should not have played. Unlike that Woodson character for michigan who hired an agent BEFORE playing in the '97 Rose Bowl against WSU. At least Nebraska was rightfully awarded the National Championship that year & left left poor wolvie with ZERO NCs since the invention of the television. How long before U-M once again raises those Final Four banners they bought with the Fraud 5? UM athletic department..."Nothing to see here!!!"

MSU fans, how many of your fans did you bring to Pasadena for the bowl game? I've heard one person say 55,000 but I would like to know for sure.
