Vital Questions for James Randi #1

Was James Randi behind the deceptive email that was sent from JREF's Alison Smith to David Koenig, an applicant for the JREF Million Dollar Challenge? I would like to know if she did this on her own and to how many other JREF MDC applicants did she send such an email to? I want to get to the bottom of this. James randi has said many times that everything is open for anyone to see and above board. So please answer these vital questions and show us who else also these deceptive emails.
