@HunterJumperLover82 every breed has their own standards. I rather see a relaxed hunter horse then a spazzing one with its head in the air.

this horse in no way has a crunched or wrong hunt movement. his trot is beautiful flowing and he is relaxed. This horse may be western but i highly doubt that he is being forced to move like this and being tortured to move out. he is very well moving and his foals are the same.

I hate horses who move like that. they are western horses that are told to move out. They will never be a hunter horse. if you dont know what im talking about than look at fox hunters and the hunter derby horses and anything in that catagory. Hunters are supposed to resemble fox hunters and this horse does not.

While you are entitled to your opinion, this horse is competing in a Hunter Under saddle class at an APHA show. While he may not move in a manner that you are accustomed to seeing in your field, he was able to earn well over 100 APHA points, including a Superior and 3 ROMs in his show career.
