AFI - This Celluloid Dream

It was too hard to listen to the song and start playing exactly when the song played so i missed the first couple chords. idk if this is exactly how its played.. but it sounds really close.

first of all..i don't think its in dropped d lol. metal player i'm guessing? or i could be totally wrong and afi was weird enough to do a song in d..but i don't know why they would.

@wexallxcarryxon Actually i'm not really into metal at all. I'm more into indie rock type stuff, but i just found playing in drop d was so much easier than standard tuning for this song

@afirocks2006 I got the tabs just off of various websites probably ultamateguitartabs or something like that. I got what i could from those sites and just kind of played my own variation to certain parts and ended up sticking to this way of playing the song.

Anyways sorry i never got back to you it wouldn't let me send the tabs on here, they came out all scrambled and messed up, but its pretty easy to just watch the video and pick it up. I tried the best i could to show where i was at on the threats so it would be easier for people to pick it up

Hey! thanks for the comment, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Sorry it's been so long since i could comment back to ya. Anyway, this is just a really simple way of how i learned how to play this song, but i'm sure there are a few different variations out there somewhere

I'm pretty sure i did tune this a half step down. It's been a while since i made this video so i could be wrong. I found the easiest way to play this song was in drop D so that's how i ended up playing it.  Thanks for all the good comments I've been receiving on this video I'll try to post up more AFI songs. I've been working on This time imperfect on the piano so I'll post that one up soon and you guys can tell me what ya think of it!

So I've actually been listening to this pretty steadily. It's on my favorites and I listen to it just for the hell of it. I keep saying that I'll learn your tabs, since mine are a good bit different, but just never get around to it.

Not bad at all. First time I've seen it dropped to d, but play in whatever tuning works for you.
