With the defeat of the U.S.S.R. and the Allies closing in on the Kremlin, two Soviet military officers and a scientist go back in time using a secret time machine to alter history. They return to the present to find the Soviets still in power, and the Allies on the run, with Western Europe about to fall to the Soviets. However, their meddling with time has created a new, more dangerous enemy...

Einstein time travels to take out Hitler. Nazi Germany is stopped, but a more powerful Soviet Union arises. Cherdenko time travels and kills Einstein. The Allies are weakened, but the Empire arises. Moral of the story: Don't screw with time, it'll bite you in the ass!
