Safety Bling! features The Rhymanese Twins, aka Jon Steinmeier and Noah Tabakin pumping out a BikeTexas safety message with phat beats, a hysterical plot, and the help of rival UT and A&M college students on bikes.
Safety Bling! goes with some bicycle and pedestrian safety presentations currently under construction at BikeTexas for college freshman orientation this Summer and Fall 2012.
What's the need? According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Texas has the third highest number of annual bicyclist fatalities in the U.S. The majority (70%) of those fatalities occurred in urban areas.
Don't think that they look cool enough? That's fair...
But you'll look less cool in intensive care.
So be an egghead, ya'll -- nerdy! So protect this...
You gonna need it when you roll'n through Texas.
