  • Fuente: La Música en Guatemala, Algunos Musicos y Compositores, escrito por J.Eduardo Tánchez. 1987. Editorial Impresos Industriales, 3a. calle 3-17 zona 9.

  • Interesting music, but their technique is a bit off, still interesting music though

  • ooh bit hostile here. I'm leaving.

  • @91lilfrozone23 Don't know shit about Marimba eh? Except that 4 years in a row I won the world championships for Winter Guard International's annual drumline competition along with the rest of my line. I'm one of 4 people that was in the group all 4 years and I played...guess what? MARIMBA! Suck it dude, your arguments are getting worse and worse.

  • @psycobando

Once again who the fuck are you to say if their technique is shit or not?

YOU KNOW SHIT ABOUT MARIMBA, SO YOU GOT NO REAL OPINION THAT COUNTS ON THE MATTER.

Don't you get it fat yankee? They got their own way to play it because it's their tradition, they aren't trying to imitate your band's "awesome technique".

Are you really that closed minded to not be able to digest that? Why don't you go bitch African tribes' videos about their technique while playing the drums as well?

  • @91lilfrozone23 Haha you're fucking retarded. Their technique looks like shit. It's obvious that you're just being bitchy because those are "your people" which means there is no way logic can prevail. Also, you used those stereotypes, I didn't say you WERE a stereotype you fucking idiot. Seriously, just stop while you're behind, you're becoming more ignorant with every post you make.

  • @psycobando

hey and how lame was it that you were not able to name me ONE single stereotype "I used"?

calling some one stereotypes doesn't make you a stereotype.

so to make it clear, calling you fat (which is true), ugly (which is true as well) and ignorant (your comment was ignorant, maybe you're not) doesn't make me into an stereotype. it would make me one if i said i love eating fried chicken because i'm black.

the stereotype of a yankee is being arrogant and fat, and you're being one.

  • @psycobando

and who the fuck named you the person to say if a certain technique is well executed or not?

THEY ARE PLAYING THE MARIMBA, THEY DON'T USE THE TECHNIQUES YOUR SCHOOL BAND USE BECAUSE IT'S SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND UNIQUE MY PEOPLE CREATED.

that's as stupid and pointless as criticizing an African tribe because their technique while playing the drums "sucks"

stop being such a closed minded fat yankee, not everything has to be done yankee style.

  • @91lilfrozone23 Right off the bat, the three I see in ONE sentence would be calling all Americans "fat, ugly, and ignorant" so since you seem to have missed that when they were all lined up like that, I'm not even going to bother wasting my time with you for much longer. All I'm saying is that I don't like watching these guys because their technique sucks. I don't give a flying fuck if the rest of you like them or not. It's called an opinion. This is the internet, learn to deal with it.

  • @psycobando

that's the best you got? you come across and "predict" where I'll be working in the future?

that just shows how much of a real argument you can use towards me.

    "using tons of stereotypes yourself"

tell me at least 3 stereotypes I used. cause you said I used "tons" of them so it should be easy to name me a few of the stereotypes I used.

you just made up some BS because you probably got upset that what I said is half true. How lame is it to hate on a group of people doing a tradition?
