Kuan Yin-- Goddess of Mercy

Here is a short meditative piece about the goddess Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy. This is a garden sculpture thats under a huge maple tree. You can hear birds twittering and tweeting in the ambient sound. I composed this music. Kuan Yin is a major figure in Buddhism. This goddess is thought to relate to the Virgin Mary in the Christian religion. I hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching. .

Amen. I was raised catholic and kwan yin made my dreams come true, it helped me and my family, I believe in saints, Jesus, Kwan Yin, Buddah they are all humanitarians pure divine souls, the Sorrowful Mother St Jude. Bless all of them!

Kuan Yin and Mother Mary is the same person. So therefore Kuan Yin is the mother of your Jesus. How could disrepect your lord's mother like that?

So what is it to make statues of Jesus and Mary and have them in churches. Are they not other than graven images? You Xtians even put flowers on the altar, not unlike a Buddhist.

Well, I love Kuan Yin because she represents unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness. To me, she's a manifistation of the good side of Human Nature. Just like Jesus. Real or not. Kuan Yin and Jesus are great people to aspire to.

How do you belive in a myth as  being real erson? I wish I had that ability. I wante to belive in Jesus but now Im pretty sure he was a myth also. I know the meaning behind myth is powerful but shoot I wish I didnt have this knowledge now. I like the myth better as real person

There are many paths to God. We are all on our individual path, searching for the truth. How can one religion suit everyone?

And Buddhists do not worship the images. They are point of focus for spiritual energy. Why do you criticize what you do not understand?
