@chestus12 yeah again i don't know if he was technically better... but i really like the energy in his drumming and how he projects it to the band and the audience

@c0d3x001 Yes thank you I agree completely. Most ppl just put him down for not being dave lombardo or charlie benante. He doesn't have to be, because he does fine with metallica. However, I do think that during the 2003-2004 period he was on top of his game, drumming at least as good if not better than in the 80's.

@chestus12 lars is not a 'good' drummer from a technical perspective compared to people like vinnie colaiuta etc (still better than me but :D) but he fulfills his job as good as only lars ulrich could. he drums heavy as shit and metallica wouldn't be the same without him. that's what people don't get... lars doesn't need to do more than he does so why would he? it's the same with people like barker and jordison... they do what they are supposed and they do THAT pretty good

fuck man , i was 8 and i saw this shit on tv and i just had goosebumps everytime , and kept saying to myself : 'THIS IS SO COOL !'
i would give anything to have a performance like this in portugal again . last time , in may , it wasn't bad , at all , it was awesome , but i think this is the best metallica performance in portugal EVER !
