By installing lynkee you can decode in real time (or snapshot on some handsets) on your mobile 1D and 2D barcodes with ease.

You can scan these 2D or linear barcode (need to activate the option) on a large number of carriers ; eg, journals, video materials, posters, business cards, products... allowing you to access to additional information available on the Internet, multimedia content like video or audio for example, participate in games by sending an sms directly by reading the tag, or access certain embedded handset features (contacts, sms, mail, call ...)

Lynkee supported tags are:

Url: scan this tag to link the physical world to the virtual one. By scanning this tag your mobile directly accesses a site without typing the address.

Bookmark: scan a bookmark tag and save its content in lynkee Bookmarks

Call: scan a 'call' tag and automatically call the embedded number

Sms: scan a Sms tag and automatically sends the message to the number encoded in the tag ... useful for games, ratings, stats ...

E-mail: scan an 'e-mail' tag and send the message via email to recipients contained in the tag

Vcard: scan a 'Vcard' tag and retrieve the information of your contact business card directly in your mobile phone without having to surf the net (off-line).

Mecard: scan a 'Mecard' tag (cell phones standard mainly used in Asia) and retrieve the information of your contact business card directly in your mobile phone without having to surf the net (off-line).

Indispensabile,anche se in Italia i codici a barre 2D non sono ancora popolari nel mondo dei cellulari! In effetti quando si parla di codici a barre si pensa subito ai codici sui prodotti di consumo.Questa applicazione,peraltro gratuita, mi legge benessimo e con rapidità su iphone 3GS non solo i codici 2D ma anche quelli sui prodotti (bisogna attivare l'opzione nei parametri).Bella video.Dai post ,vedo che Lynkee è scaricabile anche su altri cell sul sito della lynkware.Cheers!

Lynkee needs access to my details on phone, my multimedia, my everything? For what? I thought this is simple bar code reader but behave like a trojan..explain me please.

Vraiment sympa cette application, j'ai scanné quelques livres super rapidement ça marche très bien sur mon nokia e65! j'ai récupéré pas mal d'info et de prix sur amazon :) félicitation vraiment tres efficace! :)

Bien bien, j'ai déjà économisé 14€ avec Lynkee à Auchan avec le comparateur de prix. Depuis je scanne tout les codes au rayon hifi. Les gens doivent ce dire que je suis malade. Moi j'ai un htc pharos sous windows et ça marche bien.

Eccezionale, lontano anni luce dagli altri lettori di barcodes! Veloce, istantaneo, lggero, e con un design bellissimo. Legge tutti i codici, e attivando l'opzione (dipende se avete un Iphone 3GS con l'autofocus) legge anche i codici a barre convenzionali, (cioè gli EAN13). Fantastico! I miei complimenti.

2D barcodes are coming in Europe too...Lynkee decode perfectly with my iPhone 3GS and Nokia 5800 XM...Good stuff...I also noticed that, once the option activated, lynkee can read easily product and book barcodes. Good job guys !
