Jack Scalfani shows his Christmas spirit with a simple Eggnog recipe.
Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
6 large eggs
3/4 cup vanilla sugar (or 3/4 sugar and 1/3 tsp of vanilla extract)
1 quart half and half (half milk / half cream)
1 cup brandy
2 cups dark rum ( I only did 1 cup and it was perfect)
nutmeg
in a large bowl, beac eggs until pale yellow and slightly frothy.
Add sugar and half and half and stir until well blended.
Add brandy and rum and stir.
Transfer to a large pitcher and chill for at least 3 hours.
Vanilla Sugar recipe is this:
I vanilla bean split lengthwise
I cup of sugar
put vanilla bean inside sugar inside a sealed container for at least 2 days to allow vanilla to infuse sugar with flavor. Done.

Actually, in Ontario (where I am) its 19 to consume, posses or purchase alcohol. Its also 19 in any other province other then Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec..in these three and only three provinces is the legal age 18
