@a1zzzz, I was just being light hearted quoting a movie for illustrative purposes only! Yes life is a very deep experience,but if we remain in that realm constantly we would become fragmentated in both worlds.Rather,I think it's a harmony between the two.Hence,there's always the other one! Words are a attempt to describe thought,but not thought itself. Poets&wise men have tried to express this distinction for ages.Life is a miracle,and no accident as some would say! @MrSharkey11 don't let movie dialogue replace your own thinking. i'm just a figment of my own imagination, and yet, somehow, miraculously, i exist ! my life is so unreal, words fail my efforts to describe a typical hour in any day in my life...god am i overwhelmed by the sheer impossibility of my existence...regardless of all of that, it's songs like "the other one" that somehow quantify my being here to type this to you. peace out forever !

Can anyone confirm that this is the right date? I have searched for this show endlessly and am getting a soundboard recording from this date at Pirates World, which definitely does not have such a mindblowing 'The Other One' in it. Great one set show, regardless. Any help on whether the Pirates World show is dated wrong, or if this is. The only recording I have that resembles this is from 5/15/1970 Fillmore East

If, and I do mean IF, you love listening to The Dead, why on Earth would you rate this song less than a 5 star? I just don' t understand that. This is an excellent post. Thank You so much for sharing your music and your time.
